Dear Delta Charter High School Students, Parents, and Staff,
Welcome to another exciting year at Delta Charter High School! I am thrilled to begin this journey with each of you as we work together to make this school year one of growth, achievement, and opportunity. My name is Matthew Hillstead, and I am honored to serve as Principal Delta Charter High School and the surrounding community.  For the past 13 years, I have been proud to be part of the New Jerusalem Elementary School District, working at both the middle school and high school levels as a math and science teacher, coaching high school soccer and basketball, and most recently serving as Assistant Principal at Delta Charter High School for the past four years.  I am incredibly excited to begin this new journey as your principal and I am committed to ensuring that every student has an equal opportunity to gain a meaningful and engaging education.  I hold each student to high standards and believe strongly in accountability, responsibility, and personal growth. Most importantly, I believe that every student can be successful with the right support and strong communication between families, teachers, and myself.  Please never hesitate to reach out if there is anything I can do to help ensure your child has an amazing and enriching experience at Delta Charter High School.
